Stewartry Sirens have just gained promotion to the SRU Premier League and are now looking forward to once again playing competitive rugby against the best teams in Scotland.
The Sirens have been playing competitive rugby for over 10 years now, this will be their second period in the premier league. The first being curtailed due to a league re-structure.
Like all rugby clubs within Dumfries and Galloway, Stewartry RFC is excited to see the development of the girls and women’s game throughout the region.
With the inauguration of the U16 and U18 Glasgow South squads containing a healthy number of D&G girls.
The future is certainly looking bright for D&G rugby.
As with all teams/clubs things change, players/people move on and others join to help maintain and improve on what has gone before them.
Stewartry Sirens would like to offer women of all abilities the opportunity to play rugby and for those who wish to, the opportunity to compete against the best teams and players in Scotland.
And we would love it if we were a small step in your rugby journey to stardom!
Why not start now, we’ve got some exciting matches lined up in the Sarah Beaney Cup from mid February.
